Edwards County Medical Center Benefits 2023

PTO time: Employees will receive accrued paid time off as listed on the PTO accrual policy.
Group Health Insurance: You may enroll yourself and family members in the group health insurance offered by the Hospital. ECMC covers a portion of the employee only plan as well as spouse, children and family plans. Our insurance provider is Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas.
Life Insurance: Employees will receive a Life Insurance policy provided by the Hospital which provides a death benefit equal to two times the employee's annual salary. ECMC covers the cost of the plan. This plan is through Reliance.
Short- & Long-Term Disability: Employees will receive a Short-term disability policy and Long-term disability policy provided by the Hospital. See details. This plan is through Reliance.
Flexible Spending Account: Employees may enroll in a medical and dependent care plan. Surency manages this account.
KPERS: ECMC participates in the mandatory retirement plan, the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System. This plan includes a defined -benefit retirement plan, Long-term disability, and Life Insurance equal to one times your annual salary. Employees hired after 7/1/2009 will have 6% deducted from their paycheck on a pre-tax basis.
403(b) Retirement Plan: Employees may enroll in the defined contribution retirement plan. There is no company match. This plan is through One America.
Dental Insurance: You may enroll yourself and family members in the dental insurance plan offered by the Hospital. The employee is responsible for covering the cost of the plan. This is through Delta Dental.
Vision Insurance: You may enroll yourself and family members in the vision plan offered by the Hospital. The employee is responsible for covering the cost of the plan. This is through Vision Care Direct.
Wellness Center Membership: All ECMC employees and their immediate family members living in the same household will receive a free membership to the Wellness Center.
Air Ambulance Membership: All ECMC employees and their family members living in the same household will receive a free AirMedCare Network membership (formerly EagleMed).
